The opportunity was seized to overhaul some plant components which at the same time made it possible to modernise elementary modules.

In cooperation with the project and maintenance management of Dunapack GmbH, a rebuild was worked out which, in addition to an individual spare/wear parts package, also included new modules of the current empty pallet feeder generation.

The main structure of the empty pallet feeder consisting of a lifting element, turning device and pallet gripper was exchanged by a constructively revised version. This will result in the following additional benefits in the future:

• The compact design of the new empty pallet gripper, now in conjunction with a frequency-controlled turning device, ensures an optimised driven performance.
• Adaptable spring mandrel holders for pallet securing increase the gripping safety and thus also the plant and operational safety.
• The design-revised module concept enables quick accessibility and thus increases ease of maintenance.
